■ Tightening torque between the pump and pipework
• Flush the inside of pipes before connection.
• Connect the pump to pipework via inlet and outlet flanges according to the table below.
(This table is based on use of metal pipe flanges with rubber gaskets.)
• Tighten bolts diagonally at even tension.
■ Piping load and momentum
Try not to apply heavy load to the pump inlet and outlet flanges. Permissible piping weight and moment to
the pump are as below.
