POWER:
Press the
POWER
button once to manually turn the portable air conditioner on. Press it again to turn
the unit off.
2.
MODE:
Press the
MODE
button to cycle through the different mode options. The corresponding indicator icons
will light up on the LCD display. The available modes are as follows: Air Conditioning mode (
COOL
), Fan Only
mode
(
FAN
), Dehumidifier mode (
DRY
), Sleep mode (
SLEEP
), and Auto mode (
AUTO
).
NOTE: The exhaust hose and window kit must be installed in order to use the unit in air conditioner, dehumidifier,
auto, and sleep modes. When using this device in fan-only mode, however, the window kit is not required.

FAN SPEED:
Press the
FAN HIGH
,
FAN MED
, or
FAN LOW
buttons to choose your desired fan speed.
NOTE: When the unit is in dehumidifier mode, the fan speed cannot be changed; when Turbo Cool mode is
activated, the fan speed will automatically be set on high and cannot be changed during that time.

TEMP:
Set your desired temperature by pressing the
or
buttons while the unit is in air conditioning mode.
The temperature readout on the LCD display of the remote will increase or decrease accordingly.
NOTE: The temperature will be displayed in degrees Fahrenheit. To switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius, press
the
°C/°F
button.
5.
SLEEP MODE:
To put the air conditioner into sleep mode, press the
SLEEP
button on the remote control while
the unit is in air conditioning mode. The SLEEP icon will appear on the remote LCD screen. While in sleep mode,
the fan will run on LOW to keep noise at a minimum, and the set temperature will gradually increase to 2°F above
the temperature you originally set during the first two hours. After two hours, the unit will then continue to
operate at the same temperature until sleep mode is deactivated by pressing the
SLEEP
button again.
6.
TIMER:
Press the
TIMER
button while the unit is powered on to set a time until it automatically turns off. Pressing
it while the unit is plugged in but powered off will set a time until it automatically turns on. The hour indicator on
the LCD screen will turn on. Use the
and
buttons to set the duration of the timer in hours (from 1-24). To
cancel the timer, press the TIMER button and hold it until the timer icon at the bottom of the LCD screen turns off.
7.
TURBO COOL:
Press the
TURBO COOL
button to set the air conditioner to cool at a temperature setting of 61°F
(16.1°C) with the fan on high for ten (10) minutes and then return to the original settings. Fan speed is not
adjustable in this mode.
NOTE: If the unit has been in fan mode for less than three (3) minutes and you attempt to switch it to Turbo Cool, it
will cause a compressor protection shutdown, and you will need to wait three minutes for the compressor to come
back
on.

MY TEMP:
Press the
MY TEMP
button to switch the thermostat sensor from the static location in the air
conditioning unit to the location of the remote control. The air conditioner will then cool according to the
temperature at the remote control’s location. (This is helpful in larger/oddly shaped rooms.)
9.
CHILD LOCK:
Press this button to lock the remote control buttons. Press it again to unlock the buttons.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Air Conditioning Mode
1. Install the exhaust hose and window kit properly. (See pages 5–6)
NOTE: This step is required in order for the air conditioner to function.
2. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.
3. Press
the
POWER
button to turn on the unit.
4. Press
the
MODE
button until the air conditioner mode indicator (
COOL
) lights up on the control panel display or
the remote LCD screen.
5. Press
the
+
or
–
buttons (
and
on the remote) until your desired room temperature appears on the display.
This unit’s temperature range is from 61°F – 88°F.
6. Set the desired fan speed by pressing the
FAN SPEED
button on the control panel to cycle between speed
options, or by pressing the
FAN HIGH
/
FAN MED
/
FAN LOW
buttons on the remote control.
NOTE: On hot days, the most efficient way to cool a room will be to set the temperature on the lowest setting and
the fan speed on high. Reducing the length of the exhaust duct, insulating the exhaust hose and window kit, and
keeping direct sunlight in the room to a minimum will also improve cooling efficiency.
