WINDOW KIT ASSEMBLY AND INSTALLATION
When this portable air conditioner runs in air conditioning mode, it needs to draw in air from indoors and exhaust the
hot air outdoors. You need to install the Window Kit (if you will be using this unit in air conditioning mode or
dehumidification mode. While the unit is in Fan Mode, no outdoor air exchange takes place; thus, the window kit and
exhaust hose are not required if the unit is just being used as a fan.
The supplied window kit can be installed in sliding windows and sliding glass doors up to 7" (2.13 m) long. When
installing the window kit, make sure to keep the exhaust hose as short and straight as possible for maximum efficiency.
Assembling the Window Kit
You will need:

Wing Nuts (

1. Loosen the wing nuts from the wing nut bases,
and screw a wing nut into each of the small
holes found on the window kit panels labeled
A
and
C.
3. Place the panel labeled Panel B in the diagram above
over the wing nut base on Panel C as shown.
4. Place the notch on Panel B over the wing
nut base on Panel A.
2. Tighten the wing nuts onto the
wing nut bases, but NOT all the
way. Make sure they remain
somewhat
loose.
