Dehumidifier Mode

IMPORTANT: This unit will not perform in dehumidifier mode when the room temperature is below 50°F (10°C). 

1.  Install the exhaust hose and window kit properly. (See pages 5–6)

 

NOTE: This step is required in order for the air conditioner to function.

2.  Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

3. Press 

the 

POWER 

button to turn on the unit.

4. Press 

the 

MODE 

button until the dehumidifier mode indicator (

DRY

) lights up on the control panel display or 

 

the remote LCD screen.

5.  The temperature display will display the temperature of the room.

 

NOTE: The unit operates at a default fan speed setting of LOW while in dehumidifier mode. A slight cooling of the 

 

room during the dehumidifying process is normal and expected. To aid the effectiveness of the process, keep 

 

doors and windows closed while the unit is removing moisture from the room. 

Auto Mode

This mode will cause the unit to automatically activate air conditioning mode whenever the room 
temperature rises above 72°F (22.2°C), and switch to fan mode once the room temperature drops 
below 72°F.  

1.  Install the exhaust hose and window kit properly. (See pages 5–6)

 

NOTE: This step is required in order for the air conditioner to function.

2.  Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

3. Press 

the 

POWER 

button to turn on the unit.

4. Press 

the 

MODE 

button until the auto mode indicator (

AUTO

) lights up on the control panel display or the remote 

 LCD 

screen.

Sleep Mode

In sleep mode, the fan will run on LOW to keep noise at a minimum, and the set temperature will gradually 
increase to 2°F above the temperature you originally set during the first two hours. After two hours, the 
unit will then continue to operate at the same temperature until sleep mode is deactivated by pressing 
the 

SLEEP 

button again.

2.  Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

3. Press 

the 

POWER 

button to turn on the unit.

4. Press 

the 

MODE 

button until the sleep mode indicator (

SLEEP

) lights up on the control panel display or the 

 remote 

LCD 

screen.

Fan Mode

NOTE: It is not necessary for the exhaust hose and window kit to be installed to operate this unit in fan mode.

1.  Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet.

2. Press 

the 

POWER 

button to turn on the unit.

3. Press 

the 

MODE 

button until the fan mode indicator (

FAN

) lights up on the control panel display or the remote 

 LCD 

screen.

4.  Set the desired fan speed by pressing the 

FAN SPEED

 button on the control panel to cycle between speed 

 

options, or by pressing the 

FAN HIGH

/

FAN MED

/

FAN LOW

 buttons on the remote control.
