SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

•  Don’t try to operate this device without reading the instructions. 

•  Make sure to familiarize yourself with the appliance before using it. 

•  Before using this appliance, check all the parts to make sure they function properly, and make sure no components 
 

have been damaged.

•  Always inspect the cord and other parts of this unit for signs of damage before attempting to plug it in. If the power 
 

cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Ivation Customer Service or a qualified service technician.

•  Always place this air conditioner on a flat, level surface. 

•  Never use or store gasoline or any other products that contain or produce flammable liquid/vapor near this appliance.

•  Always maintain a clearance of 10" (25 cm) around the portable air conditioning unit. Do not block or cover the air 
 

inlet or outlet grilles.

•  Always make sure the air conditioner is connected to a correctly grounded power supply or outlet. Do not use an 
 

adapter plug or an extension cord.

•  Never attempt to power this air conditioner on or off by plugging it in or unplugging it. Always use the POWER 
 

button or the TIMER function to turn this unit on or off.

•  Never use this unit in an area subject to excessive moisture or humidity, or in the immediate surroundings of a bath, 
 

shower, swimming pool, or similar bodies of water, as this presents an electrical shock and/or fire hazard.

•  Do not insert anything into the air outlet or obstruct the air inlet or outlet grilles.

•  Do not allow children to play on or around this unit, as it could result in an electrical shock hazard or other injuries.

•  Before cleaning the unit, make sure it is fully powered off, and then unplug the power cord. Do not attempt to clean 
 

the unit while it is powered on and/or plugged in.

•  Never mix old and new batteries or different brands of batteries in the remote control.

•  Always inspect the batteries in the remote control for damage, tears, or any signs of bulging/swelling before use. 
 

If the batteries show any signs of damage, remove them and dispose of them immediately before replacing with 

 new 

batteries.
