5.2.3. TARE, NET WEIGHT AND GROSS WEIGHT Function
The dynamometer is equipped to display the gross weight, net weight and tare with the aid of several
operations.
TARE calculation
To calculate the tare, hang the appropriate element, e. g. an empty apple container from the
dynamometer. The figure "1638" (Fig. 8) appears on the display, indicating the TARE. In order to store
this value, press the "

T
←
" button; the display shown in Figure 9 will appear.

NET WEIGHT Calculation
In order to calculate the net weight, fill the container with the material to be weighed (in our case, apples).
The display now shows the NET WEIGHT. The colon in the middle of the display area means that the
NET WEIGHT is being displayed (Fig. 10).
