5.2. ZEROING
The zeroing function (5: "

" button) has also been designed to prevent the dead weight of load
slings, fastening accessories, pull chains, platforms, pallets, etc. from being weighed at the same time.
5.2.1. Considering the dead weight
If dead weight such as load slings, chains or accessories are incorporated into the weighing process, the
weight to be included should be hang from the dynamometer. As soon as the weight to be excluded
appears on the display (Fig. 6), press the "
→
0
←
" (ZEROING) button. After approximately one second,
the zero will appear on the display (Fig. 7) and the dynamometer will be ready for a new weighing
operation.

5.2.2. Gross weight
The GROSS WEIGHT is the sum of the NET WEIGHT and the TARE. For example, when weighing a
container loaded with apples, the overall weight is the GROSS WEIGHT, the weight of the apples is the
NET WEIGHT and the container weight is the TARE.
