USE OF THE MACHINE
Use of the following individual protection systems:
a) It is compulsory to wear a protection helmet
b) It is compulsory to wear sturdy work shoes
c) It is compulsory to wear protective gloves
d) It is compulsory to wear protective glasses
e) It is compulsory to wear headphones
6.1 MACHINE START
To start the machine pull up the cover of the emer-
gency button

and push the green button ON

The upper blade guide system must be adjusted
according to the cutting height. To go down with the
blade guide system, unscrew the handle

and act
on the hand wheel
(4)
. Screw again the handle
(3)
once the right position reached.
Bring the fence for parallel cuts
(5)
in the correct
position according to the width of the piece to be cut.
Use the piece – pushing system au when you must
cut narrow pieces in order to have always your hands
far from the blade.
Before beginning a cut of a big dimensions piece verify
to have enough space around the machine, thus
allowing a correct maintaining of the piece. Also verify
that the piece is correctly hold in order to avoid any
kind of effort against the blade.
Check that the piece, during the cut, is fed at a
constant and stable speed. A fall in the motor Rpm is
a clear signal that the piece is creating an effort on
the blade probably because it is fed too fast.
