4.4.4 Table assembling
The machine is normally delivered with the table already mounted and adjusted. If for any reason an
adjustment is necessary, please refer to the chapter 5.1 “table adjustment”.
4.4.5 Support fence for straight cuts fixation
These instructions suppose that the blade is alrea-
dy mounted. In case the blade is not mounted, ple-
ase refer to the chapter 7.3 “blade change”.
To fix the fence support
(7)

of the table using the 4 screws complete with han-

4.5 COMMISSIONING AND PREVENTIVE CHECKS
The person using the machine shall make sure that all jobs are carried out by personnel with suitable level of
qualification. ITALMAC declines all forms of liability for anything that is done by personnel without a suitable
qualification profile.
These jobs must be carried out exclusively by a technician employed or authorised by ITALMAC, otherwise the
latter declines all forms of liability with regard to the system.
Special attention is to be paid at this stage of installation, because you often have to work on the machine during
the commissioning and testing phase to assemble parts or to try out some functions, when the level of safety is
still not 100%.
It is therefore crucial for these start-up and testing phases of the system to be carried out
EXCLUSIVELY by qualified personnel.
4.6 PRELIMINARY CHECKS
Before starting the edging operation it is essential to make a few preliminary checks:
- that the main line voltage correspond to the motor voltage (as indicated on the motor plate);
- that the power cable is sufficiently sized;
- that there is an electric protection before the connection through proper fuses;
- that the doors having safety micro switches are perfectly closed. (otherwise it will not be possible to run the
machine).
