4.7 DISMANTLEMENT AND TRANSPORT
THIS OPERATION IS TO BE CARRIED OUT EACH TIME THE MACHINE IS MOVED WITHIN
THE FACTORY OR WHEN IT IS LOADED ON SOME FORM TRANSPORT VEHICLE.
Use ropes or straps to lift the machine and lifting equipment (overhead travelling crane, crane, truck-mounted
lifting boom or other suitable means), following these instructions:
1 - Disconnect the machine from the mains by switching the main ON/OFF switch off.
2 - Disconnect the electric cables and the air hose of the pressure regulator.
3 - Follow the installation procedure given in chap. 4.3 in reverse order.
4 - Lift the machine slowly, making sure it remains parallel to the ground, without sudden jerking, without
knocking it against anything else and making sure it remains well balanced.
5 - Position the machine in the new place of installation.
4.7.1 Transport
The transport can be made using a truck or trailer. It can be transported unpacked for short distances, suitable
weather conditions permitting.
When loading the machine, follow the same procedure given in the chapter entitled “HANDLING AND INSTAL-
LATION”.
ATTENTION! THE MACHINE IS TO BE HANDLED AND TRANSPORTED USING SUITABLE
EQUIPMENT AND ON BEHALF OF SPECIALISED PERSONNEL.
4.8 INSTALLATION OF FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEMS
It is up to the client to arrange for an adequate fire extinguishing system in the area where the machine is
installed after evaluating the situation of the actual factory in compliance with health and safety and fire preven-
tion standards currently in force in his Country.
In case of fire, always switch the main ON/OFF switch on the control panel off immediately and
the same for the general main switch.
Make sure that fire extinguishers are kept in a perfectly efficient state, near the power supplies
and the electric control panel. Do NOT extinguish fires with water.
