Datalogger Commands
DATAlogger Group
This group of commands store and retrieve measurement values using the data logging memory. This memory is
non-volatile and can store up to 4000 readings. When the datalog mode is enabled, triggering is controlled by the
special DATAlogger commands, i.e. MEASure?, READ?, INITiate and FETCH? are ignored.
DATAlogger:MODE
<off/on
>
Turn the datalog mode off/on. When turned on, triggering is controlled by STARt, STOP and STEP, and all readings
are sent to the datalog memory. It terminates the current measurement cycle and scanning routine. (This command
also resets the Rolling Mean and Standard Deviation function, if on).
DATAlogger:MODE?
Queries the state of the data logger mode setting. Returns “ON” or “OFF”.
DATAlogger:CLEar
Clears the datalog memory. Take care; all the currently stored values will be lost!
Also resets the sample and data logger counter, and resets the scanner routine if the scanner mode is ON.
DATAlogger:STARt
Forces the trigger-run mode, with all readings being sent to the datalog memory. If the data logger memory is full,
any further STARt commands will generate an “execution error”, and the command will be ignored.
Also resets the scanner routine to the beginning and starts the next cycle, if the scanner mode is ON.
This command is only active when DATAlogger:MODE is ON.
