• Before proceeding with the projector installation, check its integrity: if any anomalies or damages are
detected, do not switch on the unit and contact the retailer or distributor.
• The projector is intended for indoor use only, in residential, commercial and service environments: if
it is used in bad weather, safety requirement is not guaranteed.
• Before to proceed with installation, check that the mains voltage is correct, 220-230 V AC 50 Hz.
• The device can be installed either on a flat surface or on the ceiling: in this case, it is necessary to
provide brackets and/or supports and the installation must be carried out by specialized personnel:
a poorly executed installation can lead to the fall (and damage) of the appliance, with possible injury,
even serious, to people.
• If installed on a flat surface, check for possible obstacles nearby that could make unsafe the use.
• If the projector will not be used for long time, disconnect it from the mains and remove the batteries
from remote control.
• This device is not a toy and can be dangerous for children, even after disposal, as some parts could
be ingested if disassembled.
• Avoid using the projector in excessively hot, cold, dusty or humid places, in presence of gas, smoke
or direct sunlight, even with window glasses interposed.
• During operation, the projector emits a very intense light from the front lens: strictly avoid looking
directly at the emitted beam, in order to avoid injury to the eyes.
• In case of use by children or people with reduced cognitive and / or motor skills, adequate
supervision must be guaranteed.
• If the projector emits unusual noises, smoke, bad smell or if abnormal deformations or cracks of the
casing are detected, proceed as follows: disconnect the power supply using the switch on the
electrical panel, disconnect the projector from the mains and only then restore the electrical panel.
Contact a qualified technician.
• Please use only the original accessories: the use of non-original accessories may result in
malfunction and/or damage, loss of technical safety requirement and warranty invalidation.
• Avoid contact with liquids: do not place the projector near taps, steam vents, water tanks, surfaces
with strong condensation. No basin with water must be placed near or on top of the projector.
• Before cleaning the product, please disconnect the power cable from the mains: refer to the next
chapter for the relative prescriptions.
• There are no serviceable parts inside: do not dismantle. Any repair or technical verification must be
carried out by technical people only. Dismantling the unit will invalidate the guarantee and can be
dangerous for the user.
• If installed on the ceiling, pay special attention at the quality of bracket fixing to the ceiling and the
projector; verify the masonry as well the tightening of anchors and screws. A poorly executed
installation can lead to the fall (and damage) of the appliance, with possible injury, even serious, to
people.
• Also check that the projector installation will not obstruct the windows or doors opening and that, in
ceiling installation, the lower part of the projector will be at a minimum height of 2.50m from the floor.
• The projector installation must not be an obstacle for moving elements as split air conditioners or
ceiling fan: also avoid to place the unit along the air flow line generated by them, nor in the proximity
of lamps, spot lights or other lighting devices, especially if they produce a strong heating, nor along
the luminous flux line generated by them.
• Please avoid connecting the projector to controlled sockets, timers, electromechanical actuators,
power strips, multisocket adapters and electrical extension.
• Do not insert any metal object in the air or sound emission holes, nor in the signal connectors: only
the appropriate connector must be used. Do not block the ventilation slots.
• Do not use the projector for any purpose other than exactly that described in this manual; the
intended use is residential, the projector is not suitable for intensive professional use.
• Do not leave the projector unattended during operation.
