Troubleshooting 

Use the table below to troubleshoot problems before contacting service personnel or your local 
dealer. If the problem continues after troubleshooting, call your local dealer for assistance.

Power is OFF and the cord is not 
connected. 

Check the power at the outlet to be 
sure the cord is plugged in. 

Blade spins slowly. 

Arbor shaft is binding. 

Check shaft for free spinning. 

Motor brushes worn. 

Replace brushes. 

Excessive vibration. 

Bent or off-balance blade. 

Replace new blade. 

Bent arbor shaft. 

Heck shaft for run-out. 

Running hot; excess 
dust or chips, or not 
cutting cleanly. 

Water flow problem. 

Check the water level, fill to the proper 
level.
