Wear ANSI Z87.1 compliant safety goggles.
Do not use grinding wheels that have a max RPM less than the marked RPM rating on the tool.
Keep hands clear from grinding wheel during use.
Electric shock hazard. Do not expose to rain or use in damp locations.
Do not use for wet grinding.
Do not use wheel if cracked or chipped.
Not for use by or around children.
Disconnect tools before servicing; when changing accessories, such as blades, bits, cutters, and
the like.
Reduce the risk of unintentional starting. Make sure switch is in off position before plugging in.
Direction of feed. Feed work into a blade or cutter against the direction of rotation of the blade or
cutter only.
Always remove the battery pack before making adjustments to the equipment.
Remove the battery each time before cleaning.
Do not actuate the On/Off switch any more if the protective circuit has tripped. This may damage
the battery.

Do not exceed rated speed.
Always wear the proper personal protective equipment including eyewear, ear protection, and
facemasks.
Do not use if wheel is damaged.
Do not overtighten mounting nut.
Always ensure the appropriate guards are installed.
Store out of reach of children.
1. Insert the chain that is to be sharpened into the chain bar (Fig. 7). To do this, loosen the chain
locking screw.
2. Set the grinding angle according to the specifications for your chain (Fig. 8) (normally between
30-35°).
