System Memory 

This motherboard supports sixteen DDR4 1866/2133/2400/2667 ECC registered 

DIMM/RDIMM.   

 

The locations of the DIMM sockets on the motherboard is shown below:

Before you remove or install the system memory, please follow the steps below: 

Step 1:  Make sure the server is not turned on or connected to the AC power. To power off 

the server, see “2.1.1 Power Off” 

Step 2:  Remove the rear chassis cover. To remove the rear chassis cover, see“2.2 Rear 

Chassis Cover”. 

Step 3:    Remove the fan duct. To remove the fan duct, see “2.16

 

Fan Duct”. 

Step 4:

 

Remove the stiffener. To remove the stiffener see “2.5
