WARNING

After ANY adjustments, repair or service and BEFORE use, make sure all attaching 

hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may occur.
DO NOT attempt to lift or tilt a wheelchair by using any removable (detachable) 

parts. Lifting by means of any removable (detachable) parts of a wheelchair may 

result in injury to the user or damage to the wheelchair.

supplied).

with

 

arm

 

socket

 

in

 

to

 

the

 

rear

 

of

 

the

 

seat

 

rail

 

with

 

the

 

short

 

mounting

 

screw,

 

long

 

mounting

 

screw,

 

plastic

 

washer,

 

coved

 

spacer,

 

washer,

 

and

 

locknut

 

from

 

the

 

back

 

cane

 

mounting

 

bracket

 

(Detail

 

“B”).

5. Install

 

rear

 

seat

 

upholstery

 

mounting

 

screw.

 

DO

 

NOT

 

tighten.

6. Tighten

 

long

 

mounting

 

screw

 

enough

 

to

 

secure

 

the

 

back

 

to

 

the

 

seat

 

rail,

 

while

 

allowing

 

the

 

back

 

to

 

fold

 

properly.

7. Securely

 

tighten

 

the

 

locknut

 

on

 

the

 

long

 

mounting

 

screw

 

while

 

holding

 

the

 

long

 

mounting

 

screw

 

from

 

rotating.

8. Securely

 

tighten

 

the

 

short

 

mounting

 

screw

 

and

 

rear

 

seat

 

upholstery

 

mounting

 

screw.

9. Repeat

After unfolding the back, ensure that the plunger pins are fully engaged in the 

mounting holes of the adjustment square in the back cane mounting brackets

small

of

 

movement

 

when

 

locked

 

in

 

the

 

open

 

position.

 

Plunger

resistance.
