Adjusting Tension Adjustable Back Upholstery (where
fitted)
The tension adjustable straps allow the backrest to follow the
contours of the back. This optimises support, allowing the backrest
to accommodate a range of body shapes. The straps can also be
used to provide support or relief to specific areas of the back.
Before adjusting the backrest, ensure that the joystick unit is
switched off.
1.
Remove the backrest cushion by releasing the velcro hook and
loop fastening strips.

Adjust all the tension adjustable straps to the likely required
configuration by releasing the hook and loop fastening strips as
required.

4.
Assess the user's posture, support and comfort in the chair and
further tighten or loosen each strap, one at a time, as required.
5.
Ensure each strap is secured.
6.
