Unfolding the wheelchair
CAUTION!
Risk of getting fingers caught
There is a risk of getting your fingers caught
between the tubular armrest and the backrest.
– Never clasp the tubular armrest with your
fingers.
IMPORTANT!
Risk of falling out
– Check that the backrest is completely engaged
on the frame, before using the wheelchair
again.
1.
Position the wheelchair next to you.
2.
Tilt the wheelchair, if possible, gently towards you.
3.
Pull the backrest upwards and push it downwards into
its bracket.

Position the two tubular armrests downwards.
7.3 Lifting the wheelchair
IMPORTANT!
– Never lift the wheelchair by removable or
mobile parts (rear wheels, tubular armrests).
– Ensure the backrest posts are securely in place.

Always lift the wheelchair by gripping the frame at

Two assistants are required to lift the wheelchair, for
example in the trunk of a vehicle, as the heaviest
part is about 27.2 kg.
7.4 Removing and fitting the rear wheels
WARNING!
Risk of overturning
If the removable axle of a rear wheel is not fully
engaged, the wheel can become loose during
use. This can lead to overturning.
– Always ensure that the removable axles are
fully engaged whenever you fit a wheel.
