1.
Point the front wheels forwards. (To do this, move your
wheelchair forwards slightly then back again.)
2.
Apply both parking brakes.
3.
When leaning forwards your upper body must remain
over the front wheels.
Reaching backwards
WARNING!
Risk of falling out
If you lean too far backwards you could tip your
wheelchair over.
– Do not lean out over the backrest.
– Use an antitipper device.

Do not apply the parking brakes.

When reaching backwards do not reach so far that you
have to change your sitting position.
6.9 Vertical positioning
WARNING!
Safety procedures
– Always operate both manual brakes to locked
the rear wheels.
– Check that the chest and knee cushions,
posture belt and calf straps used to support
the body, are in place and well adjusted. These
adjustments must be carried by an authorized
dealer.
– Always make sure that no obstacle or persons
(like child) interferes during the raising/lowering
process as there is a risk of serious injury in
case of body jamming in moving mechanical
device.
– Ensure that you have the possibility of calling
for assistance in case of trouble during stand up
process (cell phone or alarm necklace/bracelet
at hand).
CAUTION!
– Not operate the raising/lowering function when
the charger is connected, unless battery is at
very low capacity and cannot drive lowering
operation.
– Battery at its maximum capacity allows about
150 cycles, depending on user’s weight, before
recharging.
