6.10 Battery charging

WARNING!
Risk of damage the battery
The battery can not reach its optimal load
capacity.
– Do not let in charge the battery more than
10 hours.
WARNING!
Risk of electrocution, explosion and destruction
of the battery or charger
– Always use the charger (HP 1202N2) supplied
with wheelchair as there is a risk of explosion
or destruction of the battery if poor quality or
incompatible charger is used.
– Always protect the charger against humidity as
there is a risk of electrocution and destruction
of the charger if it is wet.
– Do not use the charger if it has been dropped
or damaged as there is a risk of short-circuit
and electrocution.
CAUTION!
Risk of fire and/or injury
– Only use an extension lead if it is absolutely
necessary as there is a risk of fire or injury if a
damage one is used.
– If there is no other choice, make sure the
extension lead is in good condition and
compatible with the charge power.
– Not operate the raising/lowering function when
the charger is connected, unless battery is at
very low capacity and cannot drive lowering
operation.
