Tracker Mode
Tracker mode is used with the unit’s embedded wireless transceiver is operated in TDMA
mode as a TDMA slave. Tracker mode takes the output of the GPS receiver and sends it
to the unit’s embedded wireless transceiver without placing the data in a Navigator data
packet. Use Intuicom WiGate software on the TDMA Master radio to decode the data
stream and provide a “tracking” TCP port containing all units’ GPS data.
2.5.2 Data Routing Options
Option (2) of Navigator Configuration allows the user to configure the routing the data
(typically NMEA strings) generated by the embedded GPS receiver. In addition to
sending the GPS data over the wireless link, copies of the GPS can be sent to Port A
and/or Port B.
Figure 2-18: Navigator Configuration - Data Routing Options
When copies of GPS data is sent to Ports A and/or B, it is sent in parallel to any other
data being sent to that port, such as data arriving from the embedded wireless transceiver.
2.5.3 Adaptive Multipoint™ Options
Intuicom Adaptive Multipoint is a protocol used to share wireless bandwidth between
multiple Navigator IIm units operating as Point-to-Multipoint slaves. It prevents any one
unit from monopolizing the bandwidth and the Master transceiver’s attention – it is
