Belt not lying flat on Carryway
Cut the faulty splice from the belt and repeat the splicing procedures with careful attention to the following items.
Cut technique
•
Clean belt ends with a food-safe detergent (without ammonia or bleach).
•
Clear debris from grooves in Deck and Cut Guide.
•
Check drive bar engagement before securing belt ends.
•
Make several identical, scoring cuts, NOT one deep cut.
Poor alignment
•
Clean debris from belt surfaces.
•
Clear debris from grooves in Deck and Cut Guide.
•
Check drive bar engagement before securing belt ends.
•
Fully secure belt in Clamping Fixture.

Clamp belt to conveyor frame near Clamping Fixture to eliminate pull on belt ends.
2.
Adjust conveyor components to minimize tension.
