Place the second belt end on the other
Grooved Deck so the prepared edges face each
other.

Then, with the Cut Guide stainless edge fac-
ing outward as on the first belt end, lightly
secure the belt in place.

Close–but do not lock–the Clamping Fixture,
and release the Crank Handle to inspect align-
ment. Gently open and close the Clamping Fix-
ture as needed throughout alignment.

NOTE
When decks are closed but not locked, you can
open them by lightly pushing the Cut Guide metal
rails apart. If you hear a “click” when closing the
decks, the decks are locked and can only be
opened with the Crank Handle.

Adjust the belt ends horizontally until they
are aligned directly across from each other and
the belt edges align.

FABRICATION TIP
If belt ends are slightly different widths, center
the narrow belt across from the wider one
and trim belt edge corners after splicing.
If belt widths are more than
1/8" (3.2 mm) different, contact Intralox.

When belt edges are aligned, evenly finger-
tighten the thumb knobs on each Cut Guide.
4.
Adjust thumb knob tightness until the belt
top surfaces are vertically flush. If belt top sur-
faces cannot be vertically aligned, See
