PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION
No air in system. Make sure air connection is
made and air pressure is sufficient
Nothing happens when carton reaches infeed
conveyor
Emergency stop button pressed down.
Pull up button.
Conveyor belts are working but carton is not
moving
Belts are not adjusted to squeeze box
sufficiently. Adjust conveyor belt width.
Check doors. Make sure doors are closed.
Single Locking System is locked, still the
Bridge of Top Tape Head Box is loose on one
side
Brass pin is worn out and has lost contact with
column shaft.
Lock Tape Head Box at its maximum height,
exceptionally with air supplied and at mode 3
(Hi-start).
On loose side, under the bridge, remove socket
completely from screw head, unscrew flange
screw with 3/4” key, replace flange screw and
re-insert socket. Refer to Figure 23.
Carton does not go through
Check ski adjustment (section 4.7)
Check tape head box height (section 4.6)
