Releasing the parking brake
To release the parking brake, proceed as follows: Release the lock by operating
the notch lever and allow the brake lever to slide into its original position� In some
cases, tension on the notch lever must be relieved by slightly pulling the brake
lever before it is possible to release the brake�

Wheel guards
The wheel guards cover the upper part of the tyres� They consist of a plastic wing
which is bolted to an aluminium mounting plate� To attach this to the chassis,
insert the free end of the mounting plate into the upper slot of the wheel mount�
To attach the wheel guard, proceed as follows:
Take the wheel guard and insert the groove-shaped cutout section of the
plate into the upper groove of the of the axle block�
Slide in the wheel guard as far as it will go� You should feel the plate en-
gaging into the guide�
Repeat the operation on the other side�
For removal, pull out the wheel guard upwards�

Spoke protectors
The spoke protectors have already been installed during assembly at the factory�
No subsequent modifications are possible� Should a repair of the spoke protec-
tors become necessary, please contact your local supplier�

Width and height-adjustable armrests
The width and height-adjustable armrests are connected to the lower part of the
frame by a linkage� The adjustments are made by means of clamps�
