Attachment and adjustment of the footplate
Prerequisite:
The footrest has to be installed�
To attach the footplate, please proceed as
follows:
Loosen both wing screws on the right
and left sides of the front (long) side of
the trapezoidal adaptor plate�
Loosen both wing screws on the rear
edge of the footplate� Ensure that the
thread of the wing screws does not
protrude onto the guides�
Slide the footplate onto the ends of
the footrest and fasten at the desired
height with the wing screws�
Fasten footrests with the wing screws
at the trapezoidal adaptor plate to the
required depth�

Inclination adjustment of the seat unit
SIMPLY is equipped with a gas spring ad-
justment for seat unit inclination control� To
adjust the seat unit inclination, proceed as
follows:
Apply the parking brakes
(see section
6

Pull the gas spring release lever lo-
cated on the right side of the handle
linkage�
Adjust the inclination of the seat unit
by pulling up or pushing down while
keeping the release lever gas pressure
spring pulled�
Let go of the release lever to lock the
desired seat inclination position in
place�
If necessary, release the parking
brakes (see section
6

Important:
Never operate the release lever without holding the handle when a
patient is seated in the wheelchair�
