NOTE:
To use the Backspace key, you must pre-program the feature key
(feature code 314) on your phone. Refer to

Programming Your Fea-
ture Keys
section for details on how to program the backspace key. To use
the FORWARD, PREVIOUS, NEXT, or MSG key, your system administrator
must program those keys in the Database programming.
•
Change to numeric mode:
Press the
MSG
key (if you have one) and then
press the keypad keys to dial the desired numbers. Press
for a hyphen (-
) or press
for a colon (:). If you have a
FORWARD
key, press it to
leave a space.
4.
Press
to save the name.
5.
Dial the extension number or telephone number to be stored.
If your number
includes an asterisk, pound, hookflash, or pause,
change the mode to the
alpha-
numeric mode
by press
once for an asterisk (*), twice for a pound (#),
three times for a hookflash, or four times for a pause. (Each pause and/or hook-
flash counts as one of the 16 digits.) If you have a
FORWARD
key, you can
enter more than one *, #, pause, or hookflash by pressing
FORWARD
to move
to the next character.
NOTE:
To dial outside telephone numbers without first selecting an outgoing line,
enter a line access code (such as the Outgoing Call code “8”) at the beginning of
the outside telephone number.
6.
Press
to save the number.
To view the current programming of Station Speed-Dial keys:
1.
Dial .
2.
Press the Station Speed-Dial key to be viewed.
3.
Press
to exit.
To erase a station speed-dial name and/or number:
1.
Dial .
2.
Dial the location code (0-9) to be erased.
3.
To remove the name:
Press
BACKSPACE
repeatedly until the name is erased.
4.
Press
to continue.
5.
To remove the number:
Press
BACKSPACE
repeatedly until the number is
erased.
6.
Press
to exit.
