Although transferring calls is considered a basic function of a phone, your cordless
phone has many advanced options for this feature. With your phone, you can transfer
to another extension, voice mail, or even an outside line.
To Another Extension
1.
EITHER,
Press .
OR,
Press
and dial
to place the call on hold at the other
phone.
2.
Dial the desired extension number.
3.
Wait for an answer, announce the call, and then hang up to complete the transfer.
If the number is busy, there is no answer, or the transfer is refused,
return to the
caller being transferred by pressing the flashing
.
To Voice Mail
1.
Press .
2.
Dial the main voice mail extension number (so that the caller can select the mail-
box number) and press
to hang up and complete the transfer.
OR,
dial the specific voice mail mailbox and press
to hang up and send the
call to the voice mail menu.
To an Outside Number
1.
Press .
2.
Select an outgoing line.
3.
Dial the desired telephone number.
4.
Wait for an answer, announce the call, and then press
to hang up and
complete the call.
If the number is busy, there is no answer, or the transfer is refused,
return to the
caller being transferred by pressing flashing line number.
