Charging A Spare Battery Pack
1. Slide the spare Battery Pack
into the second slot in the Bat-
tery Charger until the retaining
clip snaps over the top of the
pack.
2. Make sure the CHARGE 2 in-
dicator lights. If the CHARGE
2 indicator does not light,
check to see that the AC Adapt-
er is plugged in, and that the
Battery Pack is making good
contact with the Battery Char-
ger contacts.
3. Charge the Battery Pack with-
out interruption for 6-8 hours.
4. When charging is complete,
press out on the latch and re-
move the Battery Pack for use.
Or, if you do not need the Bat-
tery pack immediately, leave it
in the Battery Charger. (It will
not overcharge.)
Cleaning The Battery Charging Contacts
To maintain a good charge, it is important to clean all charging contacts on the
Handset and Battery Charger about once a month. Use a pencil eraser or other
contact cleaner. Do not use any liquids or solvents.
