SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Children often underestimate dangers or do not recognise them at all. This device is not intended
to be used by persons (including children) with restricted sensory, physical or mental abilities
or lack of experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or received instructions from the person on how to use the device and they have
understood the resultant dangers. Unsupervised children should not have access to the device.

Constant charge protection:
The device automatically switches off the charging process
after 10 hours.
Reverse polarity protection:
Electronic protection from damages caused by the wrong
insertion of batteries.
Discharge protection:
If the charger is disconnected from the socket, but the
batteries are not removed, the device minimises as much as
possible the self-discharge of the inserted batteries.
Maintenance charging:
If the charger is not disconnected from the socket, the
inserted and completely charged batteries are permanently
supplies with low continuous current to compensate the
self-discharge and maintain the charging status.
Regeneration function:
This charger can also reload exhausted batteries.
6. Troubleshooting
If the status LED of one part is flashing red or no status LED is lit, an error has occurred.
Please disconnect the device from the power outlet immediately.
Check whether the batteries are inserted correctly and repeat the procedure.
If the status LED is still not lit or a status LED is flashing red, check whether there is a visible
defect on the device or the batteries. If this is the case, contact customer support and stop using
the device or batteries. If there is no visible defect, check whether the contacts of the device are
possibly dirty and clean them if necessary as described in the care instructions. In order to avoid
a defect of the charger, please also change the plug and the batteries to be charged for a pair of
other suitable batteries. If there is still an error, please contact the Support.

Only use the device indoors. Do not use it in extremely cold, hot, humid or dusty rooms. Do not
expose it to direct sunlight during use. There is a risk of fire or explosion!
Always insert the batteries according to their polarity.
Only charge NiMH or NiCd AAA (HR03/KR03) or AA (HR6/KR6) batteries with this device.
Always use identical batteries as a pair (NiMH or NiCd, AA or AAA and with the same capacity in mAh).
