The access point features a built ‐ in RADIUS server which can be configured as
shown below used when “Internal” is selected for “RADIUS Type” in the
“Wireless Settings”



“RADIUS Settings” menu.
To use RADIUS servers, go to “Wireless Settings”

“Security” and
select “MAC RADIUS Authentication”

“Additional
Authentication” and select “MAC RADIUS Authentication” (see IV ‐
3 ‐ 1 ‐ 3. & IV ‐ 3 ‐ 2 ‐ 3 ).
Internal Server Check/uncheck to enable/disable the access
point’s internal RADIUS server.
EAP Internal
Authentication
Select EAP internal authentication type from
the drop down menu.
EAP Certificate File
Format
Displays the EAP certificate file format:
PCK#12(*.pfx/*.p12)
EAP Certificate File Click “Upload” to open a new window and
select the location of an EAP certificate file to
use. If no certificate file is uploaded, the
internal RADIUS server will use a self ‐ made
certificate.
Shared Secret Enter a shared secret/password for use
between the internal RADIUS server and
RADIUS client. The shared secret should be 1 –
99 characters in length. This should match the
“MAC RADIUS” password used in IV ‐ 3 ‐ 1 ‐ 3 ‐ 6 or
IV ‐ 3 ‐ 2 ‐ 3 .
