The LAN subsystem includes the Intel ® 82573 Gigabit (10/100/1000 Mbits/sec)
Ethernet Controller and an RJ-45 LAN connector with integrated status LEDs.

The Intel 82573E Gigabit Ethernet Controller supports the following features:

The 82573E Gigabit Ethernet Controller supports Alert Standard Format (ASF) 2.0 and
Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT).
1.11.2 RJ-45 LAN Connector with Integrated LEDs
Two LEDs are built into the RJ-45 LAN connector (shown in Figure 11 below).
