Log-In State in GSM Network
Check whether your SIM card and the entered PIN have been accepted by entering
AT+CREG?<CR>
in the terminal window. The response takes place in the follow-
ing format,
e.g. <
+CREG: 0,3>
- (Meaning:
refused
).
The status of the login state is indicated by the second parameter of the response.
0
Not registered, no GSM network search
1
Registered at standard provider
2
Not registered, GSM network search
3
Refused
5
Registered, roaming
If you are not logged in, check whether the device expects a PIN by entering the
command
AT+CPIN?
in the terminal window. The responses mean:
READY
No further input necessary
SIM PIN
Enter PIN of the SIM card
store the PIN for automatic dial-up of

SIM PUK
Enter PUK of the SIM card
