1. Use the formula above to obtain the required throw ratio.
2. Match the throw ratio with a lens from the table below:

0.5 m - 40 m (1.6 ft - 130 ft)
1.13 - 1.72 : 1 zoom lens 2.5 m - 40+ m (8.2 ft - 130+ ft) at 1.13:1
0.5 m - 40+ m (1.6 ft - 130+ ft) at 1.72:1
1.65 - 2.60 : 1 zoom lens 3.5 m - 40+ m (11.5 ft - 130+ ft) at 1.65:1
1.0 m - 40+ m (3.3 ft - 130+ ft) at 2.60:1
2.53 - 4.98 : 1 zoom lens 1.5 m - 40+ m (4.9 ft - 130+ ft) at 2.53:1
4.5 m - 40+ m (14.8 ft - 130+ ft) at 4.98:1
3. Ensure the required throw distance is within the range covered by the
lens.
Notes
When calculating the throw ratio, be
sure to use identical measurement
units for both the throw distance and
the screen width.
