9.1.2 Instructions for cleaning
NOTE
When cleaning the machine, prevent liquid from getting into the elec-
tronic equipment. Remove spilled liquid immediately.
The machine is not designed for wet cleaning.
Do not use a water jet to clean the machine.
Do not use solvents or other aggressive or flammable substances to clean the ma-
chine. Always comply with the manufacturer’s instructions.
After cleaning dispose of the detergents according to the country-specific regula-
tions.
Any machine parts that include ball bearings, slide bearings or suchlike should not
be treated with a high--pressure cleaner as this would reduce the service life of the
bearing.
Do not clean painted or anodized machine parts with any hard cleaning objects
such as spatulas, steel wool or suchlike.
Also check for loose or damaged machine parts when performing cleaning work.
9.1.3 Daily cleaning
The cleaning interval is dependent on the product and must be determined by the
plant operator on the basis of his/her own experience.
The machine must be wiped dry. Remove any deposits (do not use any hard clean-
ing objects).
During an extended machine shut--down, product must be removed from product
tank and rotary piston pumps.
NOTE
To avoid detergent residue we recommend to rinse the parts with puri-
fied water (WFI).
