Optional: Securing the lamp against inadver
tent opening of the pliers
To prevent inadvertent opening of the gripping pliers by
persons unaccustomed to using them, we recommend
securing the lamp with the cable tie provided:
Wrap the cable tie (

) around the handles of the pliers, as
shown in fig.

. Pull it tight and cut off the loose end.

Lamp adjustment
The pliers with the OLED modules can be tilted up or
down.

The ball joint also makes it possible to freely rotate or swivel
the panel in any direction. A tilt angle between 60° und 120°
is recommended, as shown in fig.

Important:
Do not tilt the lamp too far (to an angle of
less than 50°); otherwise, the effect of gravity may cause the
panel to droop. If necessary, the ball joint tension can be
adjusted. With a suitable Allen key (not supplied), tighten the
grub screw (

) on the underside of the base plate. Turn the
screw clockwise to increase the tension.

Cleaning
Clean the lamp with a damp cloth only. Do not use cleaning
fluids containing solvents.

The lamp has a wide-range
input power supply for operation with 230V or 125V.
Secondary 10 V DC, electronic ballast with plug.
2x 5W OLED modules, 250 lm, 3000 K, CRI>90. According
to the manufacturer, the OLEDs have an average life of
15 000 to 20 000 hours. In the event of damage to the
modules, replacements may only be fitted by Ingo Maurer
GmbH.
