2.1 Location
The INGECON
-SUN SMART U units need to be located at a site offering
specific characteristics.
This section provides guidelines for selecting and correctly adapting the
equipment to a suitable site
2.1.1 Site
Locate the units in a place which is easily accessible for installation
and maintenance work, with sufficient room to operate the keyboard
and to read the front LED indicators.
It is forbidden to leave objects on the equipment.
Caution:
Air outlets and part of the nearby cabinet can reach temperatures
of 85 ºC. Do not leave high temperature sensitive material in the
vicinity.
Avoid corrosive environments.
2.1.2 NEMA rating
The Ingecon
®
Sun Three-phase inverters has NEMA Type 3R Degree
of Protection.
The inverter protection rating against external agents allows it to be
installed outdoors.
Dust free air must be provided in the enviroment of the equipment. Air
quality will be asured.
2.1.3 Ambient temperature
The INGECON
-SUN SMART U, are designed to operate between –4ºF
(-20ºC) and +131ºF (+55ºC).
Maximum full power operating ambient temperature is +113ºF (+45ºC).
