ullttss:: The test results are reported as PASS, CHECK, or
FAIL when the Pretrip Test is completed. If test results are CHECK or FAIL,
alarm codes will exist to direct the technician to the source of the
problem.
Performing a Pretrip Test
If a Pretrip Test is initiated with the engine shut down, a Full Pretrip Test will
be performed. If a Pretrip Test is initiated with the engine or motor running, a
Running Pretrip Test is performed.
•
Before initiating a Pretrip Test, clear all alarm codes.
•
To stop a Pretrip Test at any time, turn the unit off.
Pretrip Tests are initiated using the Pretrip Menu. From the Standard
Display, press the MENU Key (
).

The Main Menu will appear. Press the UP or DOWN Key as required to
choose the Pretrip Menu. When the Pretrip Menu is shown press the SELECT
Key to start a Pretrip Test (
