Appendix A – Device configuration guide
The M2M Control CX320 has many features, and some of them require configuration by using
hardware jumpers inside the unit.
It is necessary to open the device to access the internal SIM-card reader and the configuration
jumpers.
Opening the device
Make sure that the SD card and USB cable have been removed !
Release the tap on the
right side
by pulling out on the top part of the
encapsulation below the tap, e.g. using a screwdriver, and begin lifting the
right side
.
Carefully open the encapsulation, taking care to not pull on the flexible
flat cable on the left side.
The cable is long enough to allow the top part to be placed on its end or on the front, next to the
bottom part:
Closing the device
The assembly process of the encapsulation is in the reverse order of the above steps.
To prevent the cable from getting caught between the parts, it is
recommended to use a finger to push it partially into the space
between the LCD PCB and the middle PCB while closing the lid, as
shown on the image to the right.
