Disconnect all cables plugged into the front

distribution board. Be extremely careful not to

damage any of the wires.

IMPORTANT

: Always pull on the plastic

connector rather than pull on the wires

directly. If you cannot disconnect the cable

by pulling on the plastic connector with your

fingers, you may grasp the wires near the

housing, pressing tightly on all wires so as

to not pull on only one or two of the wires,

and pull the connector out of the housing.

Connectors with only two or three wires

should never be pulled loose by the wires.

CAUTION

: Be especially careful removing

the 2-pin laser connector. It is a very tight

connector and the wires can be easily

damaged. It may be easiest to use a pair

of pliers to pull the connector out of the

housing.

IMPORTANT

: The left and right handlebar

cable connectors are identical. Label the

top of the two handlebar switch cables

with tape to easily identify them during

reassembly.

Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver to remove the

four mounting screws.

4. Set the front distribution board on a grounded ESD mat or in an ESD-safe container.
