Pull the pulse sensor wires (50) from the
stationary handlebar (8) in through the hole
in the side of the handlebar post (2) and out
through the opening in the handlebar post.
Fit the stationary handlebar (8) to the
handlebar post (2) using spring washers (52)
and bolts (51). Place the cover (53) where
the stationary handlebar (8) and handlebar
post (2) meet.
Screw the handlebars (7L, 7R) to the
pivoting arms (6L, 6R) using bolts (45),
curved washers (44) and cap nuts (58).
Connect the pulse sensor wires and the
sensor wire to the equivalent wires from the
computer (9).
Insert two 1.5 V AA batteries into the battery
compartment on the computer (9). Check
that the batteries are correctly fi tted.
Fit the computer (9) to the computer
bracket on the handlebar post (2) using
washers (54) and star screws (55).
Pull a foam grip (47) down over each
handlebar (7L, 7R) and place a cover cap
(46) at the end of each handlebar (7L, 7R).
The crosstrainer is now assembled and
ready for use.
