5.3. Menu operation
The menu is divided into the main menu, the submenu of the currently selected source
and the system settings that apply to all sources.
The operation within the menu is done with the knob (4) on the device or with the up/
down arrow buttons (16/21) and the OK button (18) on the remote control.
>
To open the submenu of the selected source,
press and hold the MENU button on the device for approx. 2 seconds
or press the MENU button on the remote control.
The submenu of the currently selected source contains source-specific
settings and options. From here, you can access the
> main menu and from there the >System settings.
> Move the marker up and down by turning the SCROLL&SELECT knob
right and left or by pressing the arrow buttons on
the remote control.
> By pressing the SCROLL&SELECT knob or the OK button on the
remote control, you can confirm your selection. If you changed a
value, you can save it by pressing the SCROLL&SELECT
knob or the OK button.
If there is an arrow (>) next to a menu item, you can access further settings or func-
tions by pressing the SCROLL&SELECT knob or the OK button.

To exit the menu, press the MENU button. Depending on the current submenu
or option you are in, you may have to press the MENU button several times.
> If you would like to cancel your settings without storing any changes, press the
MENU button or alternatively the back (15) button on the remote control.
5.3. Mute the device
> You can mute the volume with the mute (26) button. ‘Mute’ will be shown in the
display and the status bar .
> A repeat button press switches the sound back on.
