Unit blows cold air but does not lower
room temperature
• Unit must be properly vented.
• The room area may be too large. Min-
imize the area to be cooled. Use more
than one unit to cool the area if the area
is too large.
• Close any open windows or doors.
• Remove or shut off any heat generating
sources such as electronics.
• Close any curtains or blinds to minimize
sunlight.
• Remove anything that is blocking the air
intake or exhaust ports
• Clean or replace air filter.
Unit is leaking
• Check to see if drain plug is not in place
• Inspect unit to see if the base pan is
cracked.
Unit runs for a while and then trips the
power cord or circuit breaker
• The unit may be plugged into an outlet
that cannot supply the correct amount
of current. Test to see if the unit works
in a different room or circuit.
