USING THE REMOTE CONTROLLER
POWER ON/OFF BUTTON
Press the ON/OFF button to turn the unit on or off.
MODE BUTTON
Cycle between Auto mode, Cool mode, Dry mode, and Fan mode.
• Auto
: When Auto mode is selected, the air conditioner will operate automatically
according to the ambient temperature. The set temperature cant be adjusted unless
the mode is switched to cooling.
• Cool
: If the ambient temperature drops below the temperature you selected, the
compressor turns off and functions with the fan only. When the temperature rises
above the selected temperature, the compressor turns on again. The Cool indicator
will be lit. You can press the "+" or "-" button to increase or decrease the set tempera-
ture.
To operate the unit in Cool mode:
1. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote.
3. Press the MODE button until the COOL indicator light on the control panel lights
up.
4. Select the fan speed by using the FAN button.
5. Set the thermostat by using the "+" or "-" buttons on the remote.
• Dry
(
Dehumidifier
): When Dry mode is selected, the unit operates at a low speed.
The Dry indicator light will be lit. During Dry mode, the fan speed can't be adjusted.
• Fan
: Fan mode is used to circulate the air in the room. No temperature setting is
needed.
To operate the unit in Fan mode:
1. Make sure the power cord is plugged into a power outlet.
2. Press the ON/OFF button on the remote.
3. Press the MODE button until the FAN indicator light on the control panel lights
up.
4. Select the Fan button to adjust the fan speed
TEMPE/- ADJUSTMENT
Set the desired room temperature by pressing the appropriate button. Temperature
changes are displayed in 1° increments in the range of 61°F (16°C) and 86°F (30°C)
Note: Temperature cannot be set when using the fan or dehumidifier modes
