• Kit of system shutoff valves (on request). The boiler is fitted for installing
the system shut-off cocks on the delivery and return pipes of the
connection unit. This kit is extremely helpful for maintenance as it permits
draining the boiler alone without having to drain the entire circuit as well.
• Polyphosphate batching kit (on request). The polyphosphate batching
unit prevents the formation of limescale over time and maintains constant
heat exchange conditions and production of domestic hot water. The
boiler is designed for application of the polyphosphate batching unit.
The above kits are supplied complete with instructions for assembly and
use.
Circulating pump.
Nike Star series boilers are supplied with a built-in circulating pump with 3-
position electric speed control. The boiler does not operate correctly with
the circulating pump on first speed.
To ensure optimal boiler operation, in the case of new systems (single pipe
and modul) use the circulating pump at maximum speed. The circulation
pump is already fitted with a capacitor.

Openings in outer walls of the room being ventilated.
These openings
must:
- have a net total section of 6 cm

for every kW of installed heating power,
with a min. of 100 cm

- be carried out in such a way that the openings, both inside and outside
the wall, cannot be blocked;
- be located near floor level, and if this is not possible, the section of the
openings must be increased by 50%.
