BROWsING THE MUsIC sTORE
The XiVA Music Store is presented as a stack of carousels of cards. Use the
S
and
T
keys on the remote control to move left
and right through the cards on the carousel. When you find the card you want, press the
O
Select key to zoom in on it. It
will expand to fill the screen. Use the
P
key to return to the carousel.
Within the card, use the
U
and
V
keys to move between items on a list, and press the
O
Select key to see more detail of
that item on the next carousel. For example, from a card showing a list of artists you could choose one, press
O
Select to
drill down and see all that artist’s albums, choose one album and drill down to see all the tracks on that album.
When you enter the Store from the Home Page of your XiVA device, you’ll be taken to the Store Front, where you can view
best-selling Tracks and Albums, perform text searches and see the most popular Artists and Tags. Tags are a great way of
classifying music into easily recogniseable groups, like rock, jazz, 1980’s, etc.
Press the
O
Select key to zoom in on the Search card and then use the
S
,
T
,
V
and
U
keys to pick out the text you want
to search for. When you’re ready, highlight the Go button (just keep pressing
U
) and press the
O
Select key. The database
searches using partial matching, so anything that includes the text you’ve entered will be listed. On the left will be matching
Releases, and on the right, matching Tracks.
If you enter the store via Now Playing, Album List or Track List screens, you will be taken straight to this carousel without
having to perform the previous search. This is a great place to start exploring.
EXITING THE XIVA MUsIC sTORE
To leave the XiVA Music Store, press the
w
Home
key on the remote control, and when prompted, highlight
Exit
and press
the
O
Select
key.
