Change the way in which the unit records CDs. See the

Media Transfer Settings
(MediaServer only)
Enable or disable the ability to import and export music
to or from the MediaServer. It is recommended that this
setting is enabled if you wish to transfer music files to or
from your MediaServer.

Output Configuration (not all
attributes editable on MS5000)
Configure individual outputs. On the MP1000, this option
contains the Audio Format setting which allows you to
choose between Surround and Stereo sound output.

XiVALink Settings (MS5000 only)
Settings used to communicate with third party controllers.

Remote Diagnostics (MS5000
only)
Enable or disable the sending of diagnostic information to
Imerge. We recommend that this setting is enabled so that,
if you require technical support from Imerge, information is
available to help diagnose your specific problem.

Network Playback Configuration
This option allows either, for the MS5000, the configuration
of the MP1000 as part of the playback network or, for
the MP1000, the display of the MediaPlayer’s network
configuration.

THE sETTINGs MENU
The
Set Up
menu provides access to a number of functions
not directly related to playing movies and music. From
the Home Page, press the
‚
Set Up
icon and choose
Switch to Admin UI
. You will be prompted for a PIN
which is 1234 by default. See page 40 for information on
changing the PIN. The Admin UI will be displayed. Select
the
Set Up
option.
Configuring Settings
The table below contains a brief summary of the
configuration options available in the
Settings
menu.
The columns to the right headed
For You
and
For Your
Installer
indicate whether the setting in the left hand
column should ideally be amended by the user or the
installer. Users are advised not to attempt configuration
of any of the settings marked with a
P
in the
User
column without first consulting their dealer or installer.
