Chapter 2: Installation and Removal

Connecting Using a PC Serial Cable

The DVR-3901 is equipped with a 6 ft (1.83 m) long PC serial control
cable. This cable is male at one end and female at the other end. Plug
the male end to the DB-9 connector on the back module and the other
end to the PC serial port. (See

Figure 2-2
