Vapor Lock.
Open engine compartment, run
bilge blowers, key ignition on for
5 seconds, then key off (repeat 5
times), check fuel level.
Clean Power/Clean Ground not
connected.
Connect Clean Power/Clean
Ground to the correct engine
battery.
Engine misses or idles
rough.
Fouled spark plugs.
Have dealer replace the spark
plugs.
Loose or defective high-tension leads.
Have dealer tighten or replace
the high-tension leads.
Weak ignition coil.
Have dealer replace the ignition
coil.
Vacuum leak.
Check breather hoses/tubes.
Clean Power/Clean Ground not
connected.
Connect Clean Power/Clean
Ground to the correct engine
battery.
Poor boat performance.
Fouled spark plugs.
Have dealer replace the spark
plugs.
Contaminated fuel.
Drain fuel properly and have
dealer replace the filter.
Plugged air filter/spark arrestor.
Replace the air filter/spark
arrestor.
Weak ignition coil.
