• Unscrew the stator
(20)
from the shaft
(11) (left-hand
thread)
. Insert the cross pin (3mm) of the shaft wrench into the
slot on the end face of the shaft tube. The stator can now be
unscrewed by turning it in the clockwise direction with the
generator wrench.
• Pull the sealing bushing
(13)
out of the shaft
(11)
. The radial
shaft sealing rings can be pressed out of the sealing bushing
using a suitable drift. When installing the radial shaft sealing
rings the gap between the rings must be packed with grease.
• Press the rotary shaft
(2001)
with ball bearing
(5)
down and out
of the shaft tube. The O-ring
(7)
will fall out of the shaft. Pull the
shaft sleeve
(9)
off the rotary shaft
(2001)
.
• The bearing bushing
(9)
must be replaced if it is worn.
Reassemble the dispersion tool in the reverse sequence.

Sterilization :
After cleaning the dispersion tools the method
A)
is suitable for this disper-
sion tool. The methods
B)
and
C)
must not be used otherwise the ball bea-
ring and seals will be destroyed.
(See Maintenance, cleaning and sterilization of dispersion tools).
Overview (Fig. 4)
The bearing of the
S 50 KG-HH
- shaft consists of a ball bearing and a one-
way friction ring seal. The friction rings are made of carbide. The shaft has
a dispersion head added when it leaves the factory.
The dispersion tool can be disassembled for cleaning as described below:
• Unscrew the rotor
(21)
and blade
(22)
from the rotary shaft
(2001)
using the generator and shaft wrenches included in the tool kit. The
generator wrench is used to hold the rotor while unscrewing it by
turning the shaft from above with the shaft wrench.
Caution: The dispersion head G 45 G has two prominent blades.
• Unscrew the stator
(20)
from the shaft
(12) (left-hand thread)
.
Insert the cross pin (3mm) of the shaft wrench into the slot on the
end face of the shaft tube. The stator can now be unscrewed by
turning it in the clockwise direction with the generator wrench. Hold
the dispersion tool with the stator vertical at the top to prevent the
small springs of the friction ring seal from falling out.
• In this position the components of the friction ring seal can be pul-
led off the rotary shaft
(2001)
.
• Press the rotary shaft
(2001)
with ball bearing
(4)
down and out
of the shaft tube.
• The friction rings must be replaced if they are worn. The fric-
tion surfaces of the seal must be clean.
Reassemble the dispersion tool in the reverse sequence.
